In the recently held World Building and Construction Exposition (Worldbex), Cenit Lighting Philippines, Inc., a leading distributor of high quality unique lighting solutions, officially launched their line of fiberoptic lighting systems for creative architectural, landscape, signage and custom effects application.

Fiberoptic lighting is the latest innovation in the lighting industry that offers architects and designers some of the most versatile and effective display lighting solutions imaginable.

Because optical fiber carries light instead of electricity, it can be easily and safely installed even in wet locations and can fit in even the most restrictive, hard to reach places. Fiberoptic lighting is available in side-emitting cable that looks like flexible neon and in end-emitting cable which acts as point-source lighting so only the end of the cable emits light. In other ways, fixtures would be needed.

Safer, easier to install and less expensive to maintain than neon and line-voltage exterior lighting, fiber optic lighting provides a unique advantage because a single light source can feed multiple fixtures and locations. In addition, one can also change the color of the light in the fiber to fit one's visual taste or mood.

Fiber optic lighting is free of heat, UV and IR. They're safe for displaying virtually any type of art or merchandise, no matter how sensitive to light or heat making them perfect for illuminating light and heat-sensitive items, from perishable foods to fine art in display cases, museums and other areas.
