Urban Lighting in Green Architecture was the focus of the recently held Illuminare 2, a product launch for Italian brand SBP Lighting by Philippine distributor Cenit Lighting with its principal, Performance In   Lighting s.p.a., at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel to an audience of the country’s leading architects, designers, and developers.

Featured speakers included prominent Philippine Architect Amado de Jesus and Performance In Lighting Export Manager Mr. Roberto Baggio who discussed the importance of green architecture and how urban lighting can contribute not only to improving the environment but also human health.

Another exciting trade show dubbed as Worldbex, the leading building and construction show in the country was held last March at the World Trade Center, Pasay City. The 5-day event attracted more than 130,000 visitors all over the country. If a trade show’s success is measured by the number of visitors it has attracted, Worldbex has surely exceeded its expectations.

Cenit Lighting, who has been part of Worldbex since its early staging in the 90’s has once again illuminated its venue with its array of luminaires from Europe and Asia. The 18-square meter booth space had a minimalist design style that highlighted the products on display alongside project photos to visualize lighting possibilities.
