Prisma Holds Lighting Seminar in Manila

Lighting Designer Mr. Nicola Faccioni from leading Italian lighting manufacturer, PRISMA S.p.A., conducted the “Beyond Lighting Design and Innovation” seminar last February 18, 2005 at the Hotel InterContinental Manila among leading Philippine architects and interior designers.

Mr. Nicola Faccioni, assisted by Prisma S.p.A. Sales Manager (South East Asia and Eastern Europe) Mr. Roberto Baggio, presented a comprehensive overview of Prisma products, their features and possible applications. Mr. Faccioni showed popular models from the Prisma range and introduced exciting new models that combine the latest in design and function for interior and exterior applications that will be launched this year.

The highlight of the evening was the introduction of the LIGHT PERFORMER 1.0 lighting design software package. The Light Performer 1.0 is an intuitive and easy-to-use lighting software that helps designers in selecting the appropriate lighting fixture, the needed amount of fixtures as well as the positioning of the fixtures in a given area in order to achieve the desired lighting ambiance.

Another highlight of the evening was the raffle where the top prize was the innovative Tango lighting fixture from Prisma. Other prizes included Prisma’s On Link table lamps and the popular Eko 18G.

The seminar venue was the Skytop Lounge at the 18 th Floor of the Intercontinental Hotel. The conference room showcased many architectural projects that used Prisma lighting fixtures as designed by prominent and prestigious Filipino architectural firms. Several Prisma products were on display as well.
